RK Hamilton Enterprises

These are a few of our recent projects for customers.

This project involved several small improvements to the Glenn family home to prepare it for sale. We improved the front entry porch with concrete steps and iron railings, changed the setback in their back door by removing the old casing and installing a new one, Built an awning over the back door, and installed new brick molding and weather stripping around the double doors on their patio.

For this project the customer needed a large list of things updated and repaired to prepare the home for sale. The largest part of the project involved finishing a bathroom remodel that had been poorly started by another Handy Man. We removed the improperly installed shower enclosure, reframed the shower opening, installed a new light in the shower, a new exhaust fan, finished repairs to the ceilings and walls, installed new switches and GFI outlets, Installed new plumbing fixtures in the shower, tiled the shower, reinstalled the enclosure, finished tiling the floor, installed a new toilet, relaminated the vanity cabinet, refinished drawers and doors and tiled the vanity top, installed new sinks and fixtures, new mirror and painted the entire bathroom. We recased the front entry door and tiled the entry, Refinished the walls and installed new lights and a mirror in the guest Bathroom , installed a new hallway light, removed an old wet bar and turned the space into a media cabinet and painted the dining and family rooms.

This project involved a complete demolition and rebuild of an existing shared bathroom. As is often the case in older homes, demolition revealed some considerable need for additional repairs. After essentially rebuilding about 75% of the floor we were able to give the customer the updated look they were hoping for and improve the functionality of the space. The new bathroom was built to last and brought up to modern construction standards.

This project initially involved a simple redecking of an existing deck.

Removal of the old deck boards revealed a railing that was not built to code and dangerous so rerailing to code was required.
